Customs Policy

We are Thyra Designs, doing business as Thyra Inflatables ('Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our'). We provide a custom printing service which allows you to get your artwork onto an inflatable.

Below you can find our rates and conditions.

Terms and Conditions

  • You must provide proof you are allowed to print the art: either you drew it yourself, the artist gave written permission, or the artwork is available under a suitable Creative Commons Attribution (CC) licence.
  • If the artwork is traced, we hold the right to decline to print it. If one is able to prove that the traced artwork falls under the remit of fair use, then we may print it.
  • AI works will not be printed. The training source is questionable and artwork quality is unsuitable for any meaningful print beyond 20×20CM.
  • Photographs of human subjects are only allowed after explicit prior approval and on a case-by-case basis.

You may decide whether to buy bulk or let us manage a run. Details found below.

Run facilitation

We have our own supplier we do business with. You can benefit from our intimate relationship granting us more control over production and quality. We offer two services.

Complete run facilitation

We will handle the following:

  • Setting up a way for customers to order your product.
  • Taking payments from customers.
  • Doing all talks and quality checks with the factory.
  • Arrange production.
  • Ship the final products to your customers

For this service, we take a 10-20% commission fee per sold product based on the final product price. You may add your own margin on top which we will pay out after the run has been successful. Minimum order quantity applies. We determine a feasible minimum that must be hit before production will start.

Only production management

We will handle the following:

  • Doing all talks and quality checks with the factory.
  • Arrange production.
  • Ship the final products in batch to you. Either direct from our supplier or via ourselves from The Netherlands.

You will:

  • Set up a way for customers to order your product.
  • Take payments from your customers.
  • Ship the final products to your customers.

For this service, the commission fee can be discussed and is not dependent on the product price but production price. You are completely free in how you sell the products and for how much. MOQs apply. Lower quantities are more expensive.

During or after this process, should we discover that you have provided AI generated work or traced artwork that does not fall under the remit of fair use, Thyra Designs reserves the right to terminate the run and/or prohibit you from using our services in the future. In such case, we will not provide you a refund. You may, at any time, withdraw permission for us to produce your custom inflatable.

Legal section - This section is only applicable should you choose to allow Thyra Designs to manage your run.

By utilizing our custom inflatable design service, you hereby grant, and you repressent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to us an unrestricted, unlimited, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, fully-paid, worldwide right, and licence to host, use, copy, reproduce, disclose, sell, resell, archive, store, cache, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute such inflatable for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise.

This licence will apply to any custom inflatable (Bop Bag, Dakimakura, Blimp, Air Mattress, Beachball, Swimring, and any other inflatable type developed by Thyra Designs), and includes our use of your name, company name, and franchise name, as applicable, and any of the trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and personal and commercial images you provide. You waive all moral rights in your Contributions (Contribution hereby refers to any image/design you provide for us on your inflatable), and you warrant that moral rights have not otherwise been asserted in your Contributions. We do not assert any ownership over your contributions. You retain full ownership of all of your Contributions and any intelectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated with your Contributions. We are not liable for any statements or representations in your Contributions provided by you in any area on the Services. You are solely responsible for your Contributions to the Services and you expressly agree to exonerate us from any and all responsibility and to refrain from any legal action against us regarding your Contributions. You may withdraw permission from us at any time to manufacture your inflatable.
